Cowboy Bebop, originally aired from 1998-1999, follows bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black as they pursue fugitives across the solar system in the year 2071. The addition of amnesiac con artist Faye Valentine, hacker prodigy Radical Edward, and a genetically engineered Corgi named Ein, makes it a space-western that consistently makes top lists of best anime and animated TV series. The show was also adapted into a live-action series on Netflix, but it was canceled after one season.
